The Beginning
Life before the journey, and the reasons that made a new beginning necessary.
Sometimes, a new beginning doesn't happen because we want it to. It happens because life leaves us with no choice but to choose a different path.
Before I came to India, I never imagined that one day I would leave Thailand and start my life somewhere completely unfamiliar.
Thailand was the place I knew best. It was home. It was the life I understood.
But there was a time when problems within my family changed everything. I reached a point where I had to make a difficult decision.
I didn't have a clear plan for my future. I didn't know who I was going to become, and I didn't know what was waiting for me.
Someone close to me suggested that I come to India for work. And eventually, I decided to go.
India became the first country outside Thailand where I would live.
I arrived with very little certainty—only myself and a small hope that perhaps getting away from my old life would give me a chance to start again.
But starting over in a country you don't know is not easy.
The language was different. The food was different. The culture was different.
Even the simplest things in everyday life became things I had to learn all over again.
At first, adapting was difficult. I didn't know the local language, and there were many times when I didn't know how to communicate with the people around me.
Food was another challenge. Indian food, its spices, and its aromas were very different from what I had grown up with.
But I stayed. Because once I had chosen to leave my old life behind, I felt that I had to keep moving forward.
I had no idea that India would give me more than a new experience.
It would lead me to someone.
Someone who would change the way I understood love. Someone who would teach me about happiness, pain, trust, and doubt.
And eventually...
The journey I thought was simply an escape from the problems of my old life became a journey of finding myself again.
This was only the beginning of my story.
